Secretary General of Logistics: Kaitlyn Marks
Hey everyone! My name is Kaitlyn Marks and I am honored to be the Secretary General of CSMUN XVII and Logistics. I have had the privilege to participate in CSMUN for all four years and even competed in our annual junior high simulation as an eighth grader. Through this club I have gained valuable friendships, a lifetime of memories, and skills that will allow me to thrive in all my future endeavors. Besides Model UN I am part of Sandburg’s Interact club, National Honors Society, and our math honors society, MU Alpha Theta. Additionally, I tutor in social studies as well as math. Outside of school I enjoy playing tennis, going on beach trips, spending time with loved ones, and shopping. I am beyond excited to see what this year has in store for CSMUN and am thrilled to be part of such an amazing secretariat board. Good luck and I hope to see you all in October!

Secretary General of General Assemblies: Diya Rao
Hello, my name is Diya Rao! I am this year's Secretary General of General Assemblies. I am a senior in highschool and this is my 4th year in MUN. Over the course of my experience in MUN, I have had the privilege to compete at conferences around the nation to learn about new perspectives as well as chair at CSMUN committees filled with amazing delegates. Outside of Model UN, I am apart of International Youth Neuroscience Association, NHS, Mu Alpha Theta, play tennis, tutor math and social studies, and volunteer at Northwestern Medicine Hospital. In my free time, I love to spend time with friends and family, see new places, and try new things. At your time at CSMUN, I hope you are able to explore complex issues and work with others so that you can grow as a diplomat and leader. See you on October 3rd!!

Secretary General of General Assemblies: Dylan Straka
Hello! My name is Dylan Straka, and I am on of your Secretary Generals for General Assembly for CSMUN XVII. I am a senior, and have done MUN all four years of high school. Outside of MUN I am involved in both cross country and track, and participate in other clubs such as NHS. Outside of school, I volunteer at the Orland Township, and I work as a host. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, watching TV, going for a run, and being outside. This year at CSMUN, I hope you all will enjoy your committees and will participate with passion, and grow your skills as a speaker and leader. I am excited for CSMUN XVII and see all the great things you all will do.

Secretary General of Cabinets & Crisis: Rahaf Hussien
Whats up guys! My name is Rahaf and I’m so excited to serve as a Secretary General of Cabinets and Crisis this year. I’ve been in model UN since my freshman year, and have gone to conferences all over the country, including California and Florida. Outside of mun, I’m the president of the school’s Muslim Student Association, Vice President of StuCo, and am heavily involved in many other clubs at the school. In my free time, I’m either playing pickleball with friends, watching cheesy romcoms, or listening to music (mostly J. Cole). I can’t wait to see you all this coming October. Good luck!

Secretary General of Cabinets & Crisis: Charlie Jablecki
Hello delegates! My name is Charlie Jablecki and I'm honored to be one of the Secretary Generals of Cabinets at CSMUN XVII. I'm a senior, and this will be my 4th year at CSMUN and 2nd year on the executive board. Outside of Model UN, I participate in Investment Club, Superfanz, Lacrosse and Golf as well as tutoring Social Studies and Math. Outside of school, I work as a caddie at my local country club, volunteer at the local food pantry, and assist in coaching youth lacrosse. In my free time, I love to play golf, go to the movies, and hang out with my friends.

Secretary General of Member Relations: Makenna Wohlberg
Hi everyone, my name is Makenna Wohlberg, and I am honored to be serving as this year’s Secretary General of Member Relations! I am currently a senior, and this is my third year in Model UN. During my time in MUN, I’ve had the chance to travel, enhance my speaking and diplomacy skills, and even had the opportunity to chair my own committee. Outside of Model UN, I serve on the Interact Executive Board, am a member of Mu Alpha Theta and NHS, tutor math and science, and volunteer at my local animal shelter. In my free time, I love walking my dogs, reading, and spending time with friends and family. I hope CSMUN gives you all the opportunity to debate important issues while also enhancing your skills in diplomacy. I can’t wait to meet you all on October 3rd, and good luck!

Secretary General of Member Relations: Jaclyn Salman
Hey guys! My name is Jaclyn Salman and i’m so excited to be one of the Secretary General of Member Relations for CSMUN! This will be my fourth year in Model UN and I can’t wait for our conference this fall! A little bit about me is that I love to fill my schedule and being apart of as many activities as possible. I am a member of National Sports Honor Society, National Honor Society, play Flagfootball, and i’m in choir. I also am on the exec board for STEM club, I-Fest, Superfans, Broadcasting club, and am Student Council President. I absolutely LOVE traveling and listening to all kinds of music! I love connecting with my Arab roots by dancing Dabke and always listing to arabic music (I just went to the Nancy Ajram concert iykyk). I’m so excited to see how all of you perform this year at in our amazing committees! Remember to step out of your comfort zone and use this experience to improve your skills that will guide you throughout your future. Good luck everyone and see you soon!!

Secretary General of Member Relations: Brayden Gaffud
What’s up everyone! My name is Brayden, and I’m pumped to be your Secretary General of Member Relations for CSMUN this year! This is my fourth year in Model UN, and I can’t believe how fast it’s gone. Outside of MUN, I am a very passionate cross country and track runner. Nothing beats the adrenaline of toeing the line on race day. I’m also involved in National Honor Society, National Athletic Honor Society, and ACES. When I’m not at school or competing, you’ll find me on the golf course, buying fresh fruits at the farmers market, or cooking burgers on my Blackstone. My biggest hope for everyone at CSMUN this year is simple: have fun and make memories. The resolution papers matter, but the people you meet and the moments you share are what you’ll actually remember. Come ready to work hard and enjoy every second of it. See you guys in October!
