Secretary General of Logistics: Becca Philip
Hello everyone! My name is Becca Philip, and I am truly pleased to be serving as your Secretary General of CSMUN XVI and Logistics this year! I am currently a senior at Sandburg, and have been in Model UN for the past four years. Outside of CSMUN, I participate in various activities. To name a few, I am the President of our school’s Medical Club, and I teach both the CPR and EMT course for our HOSA chapter as well! Additionally, I am on the executive board of our school’s Asian Student Association, and I am a member of our school’s Student Services Leadership Team where we work to strengthen student advocacy within our student body! I am also an avid singer, participating in both our school’s top vocal ensemble as well as our a cappella group. This past year, I had the privilege of co founding a non-profit, titled Mind and Pulse, which works to explore the intersection between two of our most vital organs: the heart and mind. I also have the privilege of volunteering at the Hines VA Hospital, allowing me to connect with veterans whilst gaining firsthand exposure to patient care. In the future, I hope to pursue a career in the medical field, with a specific interest in the cardiovascular system. In my free time, you can find me spending time with friends or driving to the nearest Chipotle. I cannot wait to see all of you at CSMUN XVI! Wishing you all the best!!

Secretary General of Cabinets & Crisis: Mara Nagle
Hello! My name is Mara Nagle, and I’m honored to serve as your Secretary General of Cabinets and Crisis for CSMUN XVI. I’m currently a senior and have been involved in MUN throughout all four years of high school. Over the course of my experience in MUN, I’ve had the privilege of competing at some intense conferences and chairing CSMUN committees filled with amazing delegates. Outside of MUN, I’ve been involved in debate, Mu Alpha Theta, SuperFanz, and the swim team at Carl Sandburg. I also spend a lot of time volunteering, especially in healthcare settings and through my church. In the summer and during my free time, you’ll usually find me taking one too many trips to downtown Chicago, hanging out with friends and family, or working as a lifeguard at my local pool. Whether I’m editing a background guide or wrangling my seven younger siblings, I’ve learned to thrive in chaos and crisis-- skills that definitely come in handy in this role. I’m always inspired by the creativity and energy that MUN delegates bring to the table, especially in crisis, which is why I’m so excited to be behind the scenes this year. I can’t wait to see all the incredible things you do.

Secretary General of Member Relations: Myles Jacquez
What’s up guys!! My name is Myles Jacquez and I’m so excited to serve as CSMUN’s next Secretary General of Member Relations!! This marks my fourth year at CSMUN and I couldn’t be more stoked for our conference this coming fall. A bit about me, I am super involved in sports and clubs at Sandburg going on my fourth year of Varsity Track and Cross Country, President of National Athletic Honor Society, Leader of the Brasil International Fest Group, SuperFanz Exec Board Leader, and other honor societies! One of my favorite activities is traveling as much as possible: some of my favorite trips being Paris and San Fran! I’m an avid music listener, really enjoying PinkPanthress’s newest album right now and always coming back to my brazilian artists too. I’ll never turn down a day in the city or going out at night, but don’t think that doesn’t mean I don’t love a good night in too! I am so excited to see how you guys preform this year in the awesome committees we have to offer; let these experiences fuel your passions and build your character beyond our conference. Good luck and see you guys in October!!
